PartnerHacker Daily #196: Curiosity, Courage, and Conviction

Start with curiosity

For partnerships to work, you need to be curious. You need to understand what your partner's customers want.

When you understand what your partner's customers want, then you must act with courage to move in that direction. As you set the virtuous flywheel in motion, you see the rewards of your efforts.

You move from curiosity, to courage, to conviction that partnerships are the path forward.

Partnerships: pillar or foundation?

There was some great back and forth in the comments on Rob Rebholz's recent LinkedIn post about partnerships and whether they are a pillar or a foundation of your business.

Rob's original image showed partnerships as a pillar, but some commenters such as Jared Fuller and Allan Adler suggested that partnerships needed to be located in the foundation, which led Rob to modify his original image.
