Everyone wants to fly First Class - including your partners
Your partners won't remember the stats about how your service performs 20% better than your competition. But they will remember how you made them feel.
Partners don’t need to do a side-by-side feature comparison. They need a premium experience.
Instead of a one-pager, blow them away with a First Class experience every time they interact with you. They won't remember any of your stats; but they will be blown away when you treat them like they matter.
Read more about how to treat your partners like they're flying First Class.
Unlikely book recs
This week's book rec is from Justin Zimmerman.
One of my favorite books is The Dip by Seth Godin. In it, Godin writes about when to quit and when to stick with something.
In business and in life, there are always going to be some dips. There'll be some lulls from time to time. But it is important to look at those dips and know when to push through.
Some dips in partnerships might be getting a logo on your site. Yeah, it's a success, but it probably does mean that much. You need to push through to find those strategic partnerships.
I like this book because it gave me a lens to look through. It talks about the principles for the long-term kind of thinking that is needed to succeed in business.
Godin encourages us to push through short-term pain in order to realize long-term gains.
