Buyers aren't just looking at whether your product can solve their problem. They're also looking at whether it plays nice with the rest of their tech stack.
But they're looking at more than that too.
They want to know what kind of reputation your product has in the relevant communities. Do people say nice things about it? Are there a lot of people who support it? Is it woven into the mesh of many networks?
That's the difference between simply partnering via product decisions and thinking about the ecosystem in a broader sense.
