How to not get downsized in 2023

Partner pros, like everyone else, face extra scrutiny right now. You're going to be asked to prove your value. There will be disputes over whether and to what extent you influenced revenue.

But debates over attribution details aren't the best starting point. You're less likely to win playing defense over whether the data is accurate.

What's more likely to prove your worth and indispensability?

Helping others.

If you spend your time making life easier for product, sales, marketing, and success by doing the dirty work, identifying relevant partners, surfacing relationships, orchestrating co-marketing, co-selling, and co-serving initiatives, and generally taking work off of their plate by tapping partners to help, you're less likely to get cut.

When that marketing or sales or success or product leader says, "Don't get rid of them, they are super helpful to us!" you know you're doing it right.
