You are an entrepreneur
An entrepreneur takes existing resources - people, processes, tools, money, materials - and re-orders them into a new arrangement that creates more value than their previous configuration.
Moving a resource from one use to another sounds so simple. But to do it in a way that creates value is one of the most challenging, demanding, imaginative acts a human can do.
Finding, forging, and maintaining partnerships is an entrepreneurial act. You're not inventing or building a new product, but you are identifying and connecting disparate pieces of existing products into formulations that that create the classic win-win (or "double thank-you") all real economic growth is based on.
Building out a partner ecosystem is not a rote task. Sure, there are best practices and common activities and useful tools and frameworks. But your job is to see what others do not when you look out at the resources in front of you.
There are few things more mentally (and emotionally!) demanding than the entrepreneurial act. But few things are more fulfilling, and more impactful for the world.
Don't shy away from the challenge. Don't be afraid of failure. You're not just doing business, you're changing the way business is done.
Enjoy the weekend!
